My recent stay at Taj Samudra provided a tranquil escape from the bustling tea estates of central Sri Lanka. Amidst the serene setting, the hotel's spa services stood out with an inviting outdoor pool area and a steam room that offered a much-needed opportunity for relaxation and rejuvenation. The peaceful garden terrace, with its manicured grounds, added to the calming ambiance.While the hotel lacked beach access, the impressive fitness center, complete with modern gym equipment and yoga mats, catered well for my wellness needs. The staff, though helpful, could have been more attentive, especially at the spa. My experience with the beauty treatments and body scrub was satisfactory, but not exceptional.The overall environment at Taj Samudra was soothing, with live entertainment adding a touch of vibrancy to the evenings. Despite the slight room for improvement in certain areas, my stay was pleasant, allowing me to unwind and recharge amidst the hotel's elegant ambiance. I invite travelers seeking a tranquil retreat to experience the serenity of Taj Samudra for a peaceful getaway in Colombo.
